The Lauderdale County Commission regularly meets on the following dates and times:

Regular Meetings - Second and Fourth Mondays of each month (exceptions being when a holiday falls on a meeting day.  Normally the meeting will be moved to the following Tuesday and duly advertised).  Meetings begin at 9:00 a.m.; however, Commissioners may come in the office early to review the agenda at 8:45 a.m.  Regular meetings are held in the County Commission Meeting Room, Room 301.

Worksessions - The regular worksession is held on the Tuesday preceding the second Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m.  Short worksessions are also held after each regular meeting on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, usually beginning around 10:00 a.m.  Also a short worksession to review the agenda will be held at 8:45 a.m. preceding each regular meeting.  Worksessions are held in the Conference Room, Room 306.

Called Meetings - Special or called meetings or any meeting dates which must be changed are advertised in local papers and posted in the Courthouse bulletin board.

All meetings of the Lauderdale County Commission are open public meetings.  The public is invited to attend any meeting or worksession on any of the dates and times listed above.  If you would like to be scheduled to speak at any of the meetings or worksessions, please call the County Commission Office at 256-760-5750.
